enriching lives

For Bajaj Foundation, strengthening farming communities sits at the heart of its mission. Nowhere is this more visible than at Wardha, the hallowed grounds made famous by Mahatma Gandhi.

A strong and empowered farming community is indispensable to our nation’s sustainable development agenda. In Maharashtra’s Wardha district, the Foundation with the help of local farming communities has worked tirelessly to revive the river systems and address the challenge of water availability.
